What boys do that make us feel good

  You can call me old fashioned but I like:

  • when a boy holds the door for me;
  • when a boy offers to carry my stuff even if it's nothing heavy;
  • when a boy "protects me" on the stairs or in crowds;
  • when a boy rubs our hands because they are cold...

Weather

  It's been too hot where I live and I think that temperature affects behaviours and common sense...

  But people were complaining that it was raining too much and it was cold...

Brunch experience

  I've talked about it and today I went to try it.

  It wasn't my first choice, but the second, mainly because I thought it will be too crowed and, in fact, the place was full.

  So, for me it seemed like a continental breakfast in an good hotel. The soup; the hot plates (sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, asparagus and pasta with ham); cheeses, smoked salmon, ham, salad and snacks/pastries; a few types of bread, croissants and scones; cereals and milk; assorted cakes; fruit and three or four desserts. You can drink tea, orange or peach juice, coffee and milk.

  But overall it was good because the place looks good and the food is OK.

Pink

  Not the colour... Blergh!!!

  She is an amazing artist. She sings and dances well and, I think, that hers lyrics are very honest.

Brunch

  I've never been in a place for brunch but I want to try it.
  I've already sorted three possible places to go, one (my favourite) only offers brunches on Thursdays...

Eyes

  This last week I got I big fright.
  I was doing something and because of the poor lighting, because I was looking at a tablet with tiny letters and because I'm tired... I couldn't read a thing and my eyes were all foggy.

  I need to check my eyes soon and change my glasses.

Because we are nice...

  ... some people think that we are dumb and can be easily fooled.
  The truth is that, at least for me, there are days when I let pass the things they say or do because I don't really care; but there are days when I just don't want to allow anyone crossing the lines I've drawn - and when that happens, people get upset and I'm called rude...

About books

  There are, as always, lots of discussions about the use of controversial subjects in Dan Brown's books, most of them implying the Church.
  But can I blame him?
  He was/is cleaver enough to explore and analyse those subjects and expose them in interesting romances that reach a big audience.
